 We have been raising training, loving, and respecting dogs and puppies since 1974.

Our philosophy is and always has been KINDNESS first. OUR animals depend on us as much as we depend on them, so we need to show them kindness.

We believe we all need to be their gentle leaders, their most trusted family, and always their advocates.

We concentrate on raising Petite Charles King Spaniels, Mini Poodles, Mini Goldendoodles, Cavapoos, and Cavadoos.

All of these precious breeds are wonderful with children, great family dogs, and many go on to be medical service dogs. 

You’ll read stories on our site about adults and children that we have trained a dog for their medical needs. 

This is a job that has always been our passion to have our beautiful babies help their humans. It is amazing what these dogs are able to do.

From doing therapy work, medical service work, or volunteer work, your beautiful baby is able to help others in many ways. All of these breeds are proven to be loving, happy gentle, kind and of course very smart!

Each of our breeds make wonderful family pets. Low to non-shedding, easy care, and great temperaments, they love to travel and be part of the family. They are gentle with little critters, cats, other dogs, etc. All they want to do is be your family's best friend, hug, and snuggle.

Our puppy kindergarten program starts at 5 weeks for all of our puppies. This includes teaching mannerisms, starting the house-training process, crate training, walking on-leash properly, and so much more to start your baby off in the right direction. Everything is done with positive reinforcement, so your baby loves to learn!

At Pro K9 we motivate and keep things fun and exciting, so your puppy wants to learn and is excited to do their schooling.

We have received wonderful compliments from our clients expressing our puppies are so well started and so easy for our them to continue with house training and mannerisms. We also do videos of all the teachings for each puppy which go forward to their new family. This way the transition is very positive and our families that adopt one of our beautiful babies have tech-support in teaching and how to continue to expand their beautiful babies' minds.

We also have many programs to help our clients to create a wonderful medical service helper. We help our clients to prepare their puppy for certification. Certified dogs can assist a family member, volunteer at hospitals, help with school programs, etc.

 It is so wonderful to be able to take your well-mannered dog anywhere to share the love and warmth to people who need it most. 

Pro K9 can help you obtain any of those goals. 

We can do any training remotely, which means you can be anywhere in the United States. 

We also offer private in person training sessions.

Pro K9 also rescues different breeds including goldens and labs.  

Many of our rescue dogs can be rehabilitated into wonderful medical service helpers or family companions. 

All of our dogs go through medical exams and testing to make sure they are healthy and happy to go forward with a family life.

Our beautiful, Mini Golden Doodles are non-shedding, and allergen friendly, our Mini Poodles are also non-shedding and allergen friendly.

Our Petite Cavapoos Cavadoos and Petite Mini King Charles Cavaliers are low to non-shedding all have easy coats to take care of. They make wonderful family and medical service helpers!

 Raising and teaching dogs since 1974, Pro K9 has held to their moral compass which includes a clean safe environment for our adult dogs, and our puppies. Utilizing fun, enriching activities, like including swimming in our saltwater pool.

Everything we do is for the health and welfare and happiness of our dogs! 💕

We only raise a few litters of puppies a year, so that we have the time and creativeness it takes to raise each puppy properly.

Each one of our babies when it has completed our puppy kindergarten school. We will provide videos of each baby working, and Pro K9 goes over each one of their teachings so that each family is familiar on their beautiful new puppy's vocabulary. This helps to assist each family or individual to progress forward with their teachings as the puppy grows in age.

We send videos clips of each individual baby we have taught to show their capability and growth. 

These clips come in quite handy helping each individual or family member to progress forward with accuracy, love, and knowledge.

Everything we do when we teach is with positive reinforcement, a gentle hand and a soft voice. We always make our teachings fun and exciting, so the puppy always wants to learn more. 💕 We are very proud of the fact that we keep wonderful relationships with our clients and their beautiful dogs, which we lovingly call our four-legged grand babies! 💕 

WE HAVE A LIFETIME GUARANTEE FOR OUR MEDICAL SERVICE DOGS 

Which means at any time if any family or individual needs assistance, they can come to Pro K9 for a lesson or multiple lessons at no additional charge. We do this, so our families know we are always here to assist and support them.

We have health guarantees on all of our babies.

We do remote, teaching, and training for many of our puppies' families. This is a great way to keep in touch with our clients and to help them nurture and continue to educate their beautiful new baby. All of our puppies and adult dogs are microchipped through our company 

this protects our babies. We do everything to make sure our puppies and adult dogs never end up in the shelter, including taking back any puppy or dog, no judgments made, we call this our safe surrender program. We are always here to take one of our offspring back to our loving home. We understand that individual sometimes have emergencies and unforeseen challenges. We want to make sure they understand. We will always take the dog or puppy back no judgments.

I, Janis Howard, the founder of Pro k9 was a vet tech for over 22 years. This helps me to have the knowledge to keep my puppies and adult dogs happy, healthy, and properly taken care of medically from nose to tail.

Our programs also include recommendations on diet for each of our babies when our babies are ready to go onto their new home. We email out a puppy guide and items list. This helps you to be able to get all the proper food and toys, etc., for your new baby.

We send a similar package out for our medical service dogs, and adult dogs we have trained. This way people have full knowledge and plenty of time to purchase the items. Many can be purchased on Amazon for convenience.

Pro K9 never loses sight that there are many dogs that aren’t as lucky as the dogs at Pro K9. Many of these dogs are in shelters and Humane Society. God bless the rescuers that help find these babies new homes.

 We understand that breeding takes great responsibility and accountability, and we have done this since 1974. We also very much enjoy helping our community and taking in dogs from rescue that are special cases that need special training and behavior modification.

In doing this these dogs are successful when they go out to their new family and forever home.
